The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu informs the public that Commission on Elections-Office for Overseas Voting (COMELEC-OFOV) has approved posting/publication of the lists of Overseas Voters for deletion/cancellation due to multiple registration records in the same post. The lists contain names of registered overseas voters with multiple registration records in the same post, which were detected when the Commission’s Automated Fingerprint Identification System processed their biometric data. As a result, the duplicate registration records were ordered deleted by the Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) at the OFOV last 20 July 2020, with only one record retained per voter, in accordance with COMELEC Resolution No. 10637. Pursuant to paragraph C (1) of the said Resolution, the posting/publication of the list of voters whose duplicate records were deleted by the RERB is required in official websites and bulletin boards of the Commission and Philippine Foreign Service Posts.
