16 December 2022, Honolulu, Hawaii – Consul General Emil Fernandez (fourth from left) met with the officials of the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s (UHM) College of Arts, Languages and Letters, headed by Dean Peter Arnade, Director Pia Arboleda of the Center for Philippines Studies (CPS) and Associate Dean Gaye Chan (to the right of Consul General Fernandez). Also present at the meeting were members of the CPS Council, Timpuyog (Ilokano) and Katipunan Club. The engagement was an initial activity following the signing of the Gift Agreement between the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu and the University of Hawaii at Manoa last November 23.
