PRESS RELEASE NO. 45-2022 

 

19 December, Honolulu – Vice Consul Leizel Caasi led a team which rendered services to over 300 consular applicants during the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu’s consular outreach mission in Lihue, Kauai from 16 to 18 December 2022.  The activity marked the Consulate’s fifth and last outreach mission for the year.

Vice Consul Leizel Caasi was assisted by Consular Assistants Jonifer Mislang, Brenda Auro, Gia Victorio, Salmineo De Castro and Victor Alegado.

The consular outreach team processed 306 passport applications and 8 notarials.  Vice Consul Caasi likewise administered the oath to 19 petitioners for retention/reacquisition Philippine citizenship. 

The Consulate collaborated with the United Filipino Community Council of Hawaii, the Kauai Filipino Community Council and the newly-opened Kauai Philippine Cultural Center to ensure the successful conduct of the outreach.
