23 January 2023, Hawaii – Attendees from the Filipino community of Hawaii were provided with a presentation entitled, “ Trabaho, Negosyo, at Kabuhayan: Invest Ilocos, “ last January 20 at the Philippine Consulate in Honolulu.

Consul General Emil Fernandez discussed the latest positive developments in the Philippine economy and its viability as an investment destination. Trade Commissioner Eric Elnar of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Los Angeles presented the economic profile and business potential of the bustling Ilocos Region, including its food, beauty products, and technology sectors.

Business persons and community leaders comprised the guests, who convened a lively question-and-answer session following the presentations.
