16 February 2023 – Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba of the 2nd District of Ilocos Norte, pictured at the center with Consul General Emil Fernandez, visited the Philippine Consulate in Honolulu last February 15. Consul General Fernandez apprised Cong. Barba of the current state of Philippine-Hawaii relations, the Consulate’s major programs for the year and developments in the local Filipino American community, among other topics. The Congressman is in Hawaii upon the invitation of his constituents from Ilocos Norte, who currently call the Aloha State home.
