PRESS RELEASE NO. 20-2023

The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu, led by Vice Consul Leizel Caasi, visited Bess Press, Inc. and da Shop bookstore in Kaimuki last 27 February.

Mr. Buddy Bess toured the PCG personnel at the bookstore, event space, and production area of Bess Press. Buddy showed their well-curated collection of books by Filipino, Hawaiian, and other Pacific Island authors. He also shared the different activities hosted by the publishing house, such as author talks, book signings, and book readings.

The Consulate expresses its support for small businesses like Bess Press, which help the younger generation connect with their cultural heritage and roots.
