01 May 2023 - Representatives from the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu attended the opening of the Habi at Baro Cultural Exhibit (Clothing & Weaving Collection) at the Filipino Community Center in Waipahu. Habi at Baro showcases the collection of indigenous fabrics, jewelry and artifacts collected from different areas of the Philippines over a three-year period by Filipino-American artist and designer Iris Viacrusis. The exhibit will welcome visitors from May 2 to 5 at 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm and during the Filipino Fiesta on May 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The exhibit was organized in partnership with the Filipino Association of University Women (FAUW).
