31 May 2023, Honolulu – Consul General Emil Fernandez and other members of the Consular Corps of Hawaii gathered last Monday with local veterans and city and military officials for the 72nd Mayor’s Memorial Day ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Providing remarks during the solemn occasion were Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi, Hawaii Governor Josh Green and Admiral John Aquilino, Commander of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, who delivered the keynote address.
