PHOTO RELEASE NO. 60-2023

1 June 2023, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA  – Consul General Emil Fernandez received Commissioner Aimee Ferolino and Director Lionel Marco Castillano of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) at the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu last 31 May.  The officials reiterated their shared commitment to encourage eligible Filipinos to register as overseas voters and exercise their right to vote in the Philippine midterm national elections in May 2025.  Consul Grace Bulos was also present at the meeting.

The COMELEC officials visited the State of Hawaii to observe the field registration conducted by the Consulate in Maui last 27 May and the ongoing overseas voter registration at the Consulate.  END.
