6 June 2023, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA  – Consul General Emil Fernandez received an 18-member contingent from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Command and General Staff Course Class 72, headed by Major General Marvin Licudine, PA, Commander, AFP Education and Training and Doctrine Command, during a visit to the Consulate last 5 June, where discussions took place on security-related issues in the region.

The delegation is in Honolulu from June 4 to 8, for career training and development sessions with relevant agencies.  Aside from the courtesy visit to the Consulate, their activities include visits to the US Indo-Pacific Command and Daniel K. Inouye Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies.  END.
