20 June 2023, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA – A Philippine delegation composed of member agencies of the National Security Council (NSC) - Strategic Trade Management Committee (STMCOM) led by Director Janice S. Dimayacyac, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Strategic Trade Management Office (STMO) (4th from left), and Assistant Director General Cornelio H. Valencia, Jr. of NSC (5th from right) paid a courtesy call on Consul General Emil Fernandez (5th from left) at the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu last June 16. The delegation, together with representatives from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan, participated in the Regional Tabletop Exercise on United Nations Security Council sanctions implementation sponsored under the US Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) Program of the Department of State. This year’s exercise focused on the implementation of sanctions on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
