30 June 2023, Honolulu – Mr. Tyson Branz, Chief Executive Officer of Destileria Barako and Ms. Junalyn Alo, Vice President for Business Development called on Consul General Emil Fernandez today and presented their plans to introduce the multi-awarded Ube Cream Liqueur to the Hawaii market. The liqueur has already made inroads in the US mainland and selected cities in Asia and Europe.
In 2022, Ube Cream Liqueur was named the “World’s Best Cream” in the World Liqueur Awards, won “Double Gold” for the cream/dairy/egg liqueur category, and the “Innovation Award” in the 2021 Sip Awards. The beverage is available at Agimat at Ugat Foraging Bar and Kitchen in Poblacion, Makati.
Destileria Barako continues to develop products using Philippine ingredients such as ube, coconut, mango and durian, providing farmers with greater markets and revenue streams. (END)
