Consul Pam Bailon administered the oath to petitioners for retention and reacquisition of Philippine citizenship during the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu’s consular outreach in Hilo.
Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, 11 September 2023 – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted its third consular outreach mission this year, held in Hilo, Hawaii (Big Island).
Consul Pamela Durian-Bailon led the 6-member team that attended to the consular needs of 245 members of the Filipino-American community, including applications for passport, notarials, civil registration, and dual citizenship. Also registered were 66 overseas absentee voters.
The Consulate partnered with the Hawaii County Office in the conduct of the outreach. Its team was composed of Consular Assistants Jonifer Mislang, Joel Bulos, Mia Gaspar, Victor Alegado, and Collecting Officer Gia Cristina Victorio.

The team also met with several Filipino community leaders in Hilo during the outreach. Through the years, the Filipino community has extended its warm welcome and support for the Consulate’s outreach missions.
