16 October 2023, Honolulu – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted its fifth consular outreach mission this year, held in Lihue, Kauai.
Vice Consul Leizel Caasi led the 6-member team that attended to the consular needs and queries of the Filipino and Filipino-American community in the island, including applications for passport, notarials, civil registration, and dual citizenship inquires. Also registered were 51 overseas absentee voters.
The Consulate partnered with the Kauai Filipino Community Council led by its President, Ms. Nancy Apalla in the staging of the outreach. Its team was composed of Consular Assistants Brenda Auro, Mia Gaspar, Salmineo De Castro, Victor Alegado, and Collecting Officer Abigail Ramos.
The County of Kauai made available space at Lihue Civic Center for the 3-day outreach mission. (END)
