27 October 2023, Honolulu – Continuing the partnership started last year during the launch of the Hardin ni Rizal, Consul General Emil Fernandez accepted a donation of the Farmacy Garden box from the Knights of Rizal – Maysa Ohana Chapter and Hui Mala ‘Ai, represented by Mr. Jeron Sambrano.
The installation of the garden box at the Consulate aims to inspire the Filipino community in Hawaii to embrace the use of natural microbes in the soil to grow healthier produce and use gardening as a tool to improve mental health.
The Farmacy Garden box is a pre-built, self-contained system created by Mountain View Farms to produce sustainable, chemical-free, and nutrient-dense food. More information may be found at https://www.mountainviewfarms808.com. (END)
