 7 December 2023, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA –Consul Pamela Bailon (left) welcomed Commodore Marifem Isaac (right) of the Philippine Coast Guard, who is participating in the Transnational Security Cooperation Course at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI APCSS) in Honolulu.

Philippine officials participate regularly in courses offered by the DKI APCSS such as the Transnational Security Cooperation Course, which is an intensive program for senior leaders from Indo-Pacific countries. The course emphasizes the impact of change in the region and evolving security roles, capabilities, and opportunities.
