(20 June 2019, Honolulu, Hawaii) - Seven Filipino fellows are attending the Comprehensive Security Responses to Terrorism Course (CSRT 19-1) at the Daniel K. Inouye- Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI-APCSS) from 4 June to 3 July 2019.
The fellows called on Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno on 19 June 2019. They are: Atty. Roy Ecraela, Department of Foreign Affairs, Dir. Candido Bontogon, Jr., National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, Col. Shalimar Imperial, Philippine Army, Lt. Col. Rey Rico, Philippine Army, Police Maj. Juanito Dizon, Jr., Philippine National Police, Police Maj. Eric Ortega, PNP, and Lt. Commander Erwin Tolentino, Philippine Coast Guard.
The CSRT course focuses on the concept of modern terrorism, its patterns in the Asia-Pacific, causes and strategies of various groups, prevention, and response. The course enables participants to share their experiences and to build relationships that would enhance the region’s capability to fight terrorism. END
