PRESS RELEASE NO. 125-2023  

20 December 2023, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted its fifth assistance to nationals mission at the Lahaina Civic Center on 19 December to assist Filipinos impacted by the 8 August Maui wildfires. 

The team disbursed financial assistance to 57 Filipino beneficiaries.  To date, total financial assistance has been extended to over 630 beneficiaries with approximately US$190,000 in cash provided.  

Consul Grace Bulos led the Consulate’s team, with the assistance of Finance Officer Abigail Ramos, ATN Officer Hermogenes Cayabyab, Jr. and Consular Assistant Elaine Aldaya.  (END).
