11 March 2024, Honolulu – Six officials from the Philippine government are currently undertaking the Comprehensive Security Cooperation (CSC) course offered by the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI-APCSS) this year. Among topics discussed during the executive program are current transdisciplinary and transboundary challenges. Potential solutions to these regional security issues are analyzed and developed. Accompanied by AFP Liaison Officer to USINDOPACOM Captain Aldrin Doctor, the participants called on Consul General Emil Fernandez (4th from left in photo) last March 7. They included Assistant Secretary Paulo Lim of the Office of the President, Captain Roderick Elioran and Commander Marilyn Jaal of the Philippine Coast Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Christian Ace Lualhati of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and Major Chino Cornelio and Ms. Mara Czareanah Gerona of the Department of National Defense.
