Consul Grace Bulos explains some similarities between the Philippines and Hawaii to students of Queen Kaahumanu Elementary School.

18 April 2024, Honolulu - The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu joined other community members in the 2024 Community Day of Queen Kaahumanu Elementary School today, an activity which provided  students with the opportunity to learn about the different members of the community and their functions.

By engaging with the students, Consul Grace Bulos and Public Diplomacy Assistant Elaine Aldaya explained the work of the Consulate, their roles and functions, and shared information about the Philippines. 

On behalf of the Consulate, Consul Bulos turned over Filipino-English children’s books for the school library to cap the event.  (END)
