22 May 2024, Honolulu – Consul General Emil Fernandez served as the installing officer during the Philippine Nurses of Association of Hawaii’s gala held last May 18 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel. He commended Cielito Matias-Schwartz for ably steering PNAH the past two years and wished Marianela Jacob, now serving a second stint as president, all the success as she promotes the interests of the Association’s members in the state. Dr. Nancy Walch ably served as event chair of the biennial gala. The Consul General greeted the nurses in attendance a Happy Nurses Month and shared the sentiments of many in conveying gratitude to the devotion and compassion they have shown to those under their care.
