14 June 2024, Honolulu – General Charles Flynn, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Pacific, hosted Consuls General, including Consul General Emil Fernandez, at the General Frederick C. Weyand Command Center in Fort Shafter, Hawaii. During the visit, briefings were received on USARPAC’s activities in the region, as well as the role played by the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) in responding to domestic emergencies and its disaster relief efforts. The day was also auspicious as it marked the 249th Army birthday. (END)
