22 July 2024, Honolulu – Dr. Shirley Agrupis, President of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), accompanied by several officials from the Province of Ilocos Norte and City of Batac, graced the 3rd MMSU Global Alumni Reunion held last Friday at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel. Some 400 guests, including Consul General Emil Fernandez, attended the festive affair, with Thelma Ortal and Lawrence Patricio commendably putting the grand event together. MMSU, with an estimated 4,000 alumni throughout Hawaii, enjoys a reputation for excellence among higher education institutions in the Philippines, with significant strides achieved during the presidency of Dr. Agrupis.
