Consul Bulos with Filipino Nurses Organization of Hawaii President Flordeliza Supnet

12 August, Honolulu - Consul Grace Bulos represented the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu at the 51st Annual Nursing Recognition and Excellence Awards organized by the Filipino Nurses Organization of Hawaii (FNOH) at the Hilton Hawaiian Village last 10 August.  In her remarks, Consul Bulos lauded the awardees, namely, Ms. Margie Berueda, recipient of the Ines Cayaban Distinguished Service Excellence Award, Ms. Amelia Guillermo, Excellence in Nursing Education, Mr. Harold Palma, Excellence in Clinical Practice, Mr. Romeo Cadelina, Excellence in Nursing Educaiton and Dr. Conrad Bernisto, Excellence in Clinical Research, for their hard work, and contributions to the nursing profession, the community and upholding a good image of the Philippines in Hawaii.  She thanked the FNOH for its endeavors to build a Bagong Pilipinas inclusive for all, including the next generation through its scholarship program.  To continue connections with the motherland, she encouraged attendees to be aware of developments in the Philippines and participate in nation building by registering as overseas voters and voting in the Philippine midterm elections in May 2025.
