15 August 2024, Honolulu – Philippine Airlines’ Hawaii Area Head, Ms. Sol Solleza, called on Consul General Emil Fernandez yesterday to present him with a plaque “in appreciation of his invaluable support to Philippine Airlines Hawaii.”  Consul General Fernandez also thanked Ms. Solleza for PAL’s generosity and partnership with the Consulate and Filipino community organizations through its sponsorship of key events, including the recently concluded Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour that involved visits to Manila, Bacolod and Cagayan de Oro this year, among other destinations.  PAL is the Philippines’ flag carrier and first commercial airline in Asia. It flies five times weekly from Honolulu to Manila serving the travel needs of Filipinos in Hawaii as well as businesspeople, tourists and families from all over the world.  (END)
