17 September 2024, Honolulu –  Consul and Acting Head of Post Pamela Durian-Bailon congratulated the Philippine Women’s Association in Hawaii (PWAH) as it staged its annual Filipiniana Ball 2024 at Ala Moana Hotel on 13 September 2024. The ball highlighted the elegance and beauty of the Filipiniana, a distinctive icon of our culture.

Now in its 8th year, the PWAH has encouraged Filipino-American women to become leaders in promoting Philippine culture through various community-building initiatives. Consul Durian-Bailon commended PWAH for its unwavering and inspiring commitment to preserving Filipino culture, providing opportunities through education, and nurturing leadership among Filipino American women.  (END)
