20 September 2024, Honolulu – Acting Head of Post Pamela Durian-Bailon lays a wreath on behalf of the Philippines during the National Prisoners of War (POW) / Missing in Action (MIA) Recognition Day held at the National Cemetery of the Pacific.  The event, organized by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) and the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC), honored the sacrifices of fallen U.S. service members during past conflicts. It also highlighted ongoing efforts to recover the remains of 81,200 unaccounted-for personnel, in cooperation with 46 partner countries including the Philippines.
