22 October 2024, Honolulu – In support of its assistance to nationals efforts, officials of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu, led by Consul Grace Bulos, visited the Maui Police Department (MPD) and met with Deputy Chief Wade Maeda and Captain Brian Manlapao last 17 October.  Consul Bulos and her team were in Kahului, Maui for a consular and assistance to nationals outreach mission from 18 to 20 October.  

Consul Bulos informed the MPD officers of the outreach mission and took the opportunity to thank them for the assistance extended to Filipinos, especially those who were affected by the Maui wildfires last year.  She expressed the Consulate’s readiness to assist MPD, should it be needed in the future.  (END).
