PRESS RELEASE NO. 128-2024

23 October 2024, Honolulu – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) delegation to the Command and Control Interoperability Board (CCIB) meeting in Hawaii led by Brigadier General Walter P. Icaro (2nd from left), PA, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Command, Control, Communications and Computer/Cyber, J6 paid a courtesy call on Acting Head of Post Pamela Durian-Bailon (center, front row). 

The CCIB is a technical bilateral cooperation group established under the Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) to promote communications interoperability in operations as well as joint exercises. The delegation members present during the call include BGEN Jamel Samonte PA, Col. Constancio Espina II PA, Co. Robert Bitas PAF, Col. Vicente Naldoza, Jr. PAF, and Capt. Santiago Pacis Jr. PN (GSC).   Joining them are Capt. Roldydin Cris Sergio, Philippine Defense and Armed Forces Liaison Officer (PHILDAFLO) to the U.S. INDOPACOM, and Col.
