11 November 2024, Honolulu –  The Philippine Consulate, represented by Acting Head of Post Pamela Durian-Bailon, offered a wreath during the Veterans Day Ceremony 2024 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu. Hosted by the Oahu Veterans Council in partnership with the US Air Force, the Hawaii Air National Guard and Civil Air Patrol, the meaningful ceremony was attended by veterans from various US armed forces units, including veterans of Filipino descent. Among the guests who graced the occasion were Representatives Ed Case and Jill Tokuda, Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke, Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi, General Kevin Schneider, Commander of the Pacific Air Forces and Air Component Commander of the US INDOPACOM, and B.GEN. Phillip Mallory, Hawaii Deputy Adjutant General. (END)
