12 November 2024, Honolulu –  The Philippine Consulate, represented by Acting Head of Post Pamela Durian-Bailon, congratulated BIBAK Hawaii on its 45th anniversary last 10 November 2024. Members and leaders of the organization, whose roots are from the Cordillera Region of the Philippines – Benguet, Ifugao, Bontoc, Apayao/Abra, Kalinga –  gathered to honor the enduring legacy of the people of Cordillera who have made Hawaii their second home since 1979. The milestone event highlighted unity, cultural pride, and the ongoing contributions of indigenous Filipino heritage in Hawaii. (END)
