Acting Head of Post Pamela Durian-Bailon with Ms. Maria Elisa Cabahug, Managing Director of ABS-CB Foundation International and Consul Grace Bulos

Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, 13 November 2024 – Acting Head of Post Pamela Durian-Bailon and Consul Grace Bulos welcomed Ms. Maria Elisa Cabahug, the San Francisco-based Managing Director of ABS-CB Foundation International, at the Philippine Consulate General today to discuss collaboration on eco-tourism projects in the Philippines supported by the Foundation, particularly the inclusion of possible site visits in future tourism and trade missions.  

The Consulate officials and Ms. Cabahug agreed on the importance of educating visitors to Philippine eco-tourism sites on the protection and preservation of the country’s natural wonders and support for the local communities that care for them, in the collective effort to mitigate and adapt to the challenges of climate change.  (END).
