PRESS RELEASE NO. 7-2025
Consul Bulos delivers her message.
Honolulu, 10 February 2025 – Consul Grace Bulos represented the Philippine consulate General in Honolulu at the 21st Lady in Red Ball organized by the Pygmalion Arts Consortium at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel last 8 February. In her message, she thanked the Consortium, led by its President, Mr. Leo Gozar, for staging an event that showcases various aspects of Philippine culture, including fashion, creativity, and the performing arts. More importantly, she emphasized that the event brings the community together “in our shared love for country, the Philippines, our second home Hawaii and our people, reflected through the spirit of bayanihan, pakikipagkapwa and aloha.”
She lauded this year’s iteration of the ball for recognizing the Puso Tributes, namely Dr. Lawrence KW Tseu, Ms. Elsa Talavera, Mr. T George Paris and Ms. Trini Sanga, who inspire the community through their dedication, service, philanthropy and success in their respective fields.
Consul Bulos also informed attendees of the Consulate’s upcoming activities, including overseas voting for the Philippines’ midterm elections from 13 April to 11 May and the Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour, which will take participants to Manila, Ilocos Norte and Palawan from 6 to 15 July. An innovation of the VIP Tour 2025 is the Next Gen version for the more active and adventurous participants, who are slated to visit Manila, Siargao and Palawan. (END)
