4 April 2025, Honolulu – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu hosted a Consular Roundtable at its Chancery on 3 April, which was attended by representatives of the career Consular Consulates in Honolulu including Consul General Glansay Enos, of the Marshall Islands, Consul General Uchel Raley Naito of Palau, Consul Shelley Allen of Australia, Mr. Dan Cairns, Administration Manager, New Zealand, Consul Take Ueda of Japan, Vice Consul Eom Junhyeok of Korea and Vice Consul Juaan of the Marshall Islands.
The meeting served as an avenue to meet, network and discuss issues of common concern and share updates on upcoming events of the Consulates.
Mr. Stephen Zagami, Resident Agent in Charge, US Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service, served as the guest speaker at the event. He briefed the attendees on the structure of the security agencies and bureaus under the US Department of State, and his offices’ mandate and functions. He also provided updates on the security situation in the State of Hawaii and shared practical tips on maintaining safety and security of diplomatic personnel, their families and constituents. (END)
