Consul General Talbo delivers his message at the Spring Masquerade Ball. 

8 April 2025, Honolulu – As his first Filipino community event, Consul General Arman R. Talbo graced the festive Spring Masquerade Ball organized by Urdaneta City Community Alliance at the Pagoda Hotel last 5 April, calling the occasion a “celebration of our Filipino-ness.”  He thanked the Alliance for staging the event, under the able leadership of its President, Ms. Amalia M. P. Gozar, and took cognizance of the organization’s efforts to foster the spirit of community and camaraderie through its activities and projects.  

The Consul General also encouraged the event attendees to participate in the Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour 2025 from 6 to 15 July, which will take delegates to Manila, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur and Palawan, with the VIP Next Gen visiting Siargao.  He also called on Filipino overseas voters to exercise their right to vote and fulfill their obligation to nation building by participating in the May 2025 Philippine midterm elections.  (END).
