8 April 2025, Honolulu – Philippine Consul General Arman R. Talbo warmly welcomed Major General Stephen Logan, Adjutant General of Hawaii National Guard, during the latter’s courtesy call that highlighted the enduring friendship and cooperation between the Philippines and the State of Hawaii.

Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening cooperation on disaster preparedness and defense cooperation. 

With Hawaii home to one of the largest Filipino communities outside the Philippines, Consul General Talbo emphasized the importance of seamless coordination with the host government  to safeguard the welfare of Filipino nationals and contribute to regional resilience, especially during times of disaster. The visit underscores the strong people-to-people and strategic ties between the Philippines and Hawaii—built on shared values, common challenges, and a long history of cooperation.
