Consul General Talbo (center) meets with the PCCCH, led by Mr. Jerry Felicitas, to discuss upcoming commemorative activities.

10 April 2025, Honolulu – Consul General Arman R. Talbo met with the Philippine Celebrations Coordinating Committee of Hawaii (PCCCH) led by Mr. Jerry Felicitas to discuss areas of cooperation, including the 127th Philippine Independence Day celebration this year. Also joining the call was Vice Consul Leizel Caasi, former State Senator Bennette Misalucha, and Ms. Cecilia Villafuerte, both from PCCCH.

During the meeting, Consul General Talbo expressed his appreciation for the PCCCH, which has been staging the Philippine Independence Day Gala for the past years. He expressed support for this endeavor and encouraged the leadership of the PCCCH to engage and invite other organizations to participate to ensure a community-wide commemoration. 

In coordination with the Consulate, the PCCCH-led Gala is scheduled to take place on June 14th at the Coral Ballroom - Hilton Hawaiian Village. (END)
