PCG outreach team holds a two-day outreach mission in Kauai with the support of the Kauai Filipino Community Council, led by Nancy Apalla (4th from left).
14 April 2025, Honolulu – Vice Consul Leizel Caasi led the two-day outreach mission in Lihue, Kauai over the weekend, where the team processed applications for passports, notarials, civil registration, and dual citizenship.
Vice Consul Caasi shares information on overseas voting and answered queries of consular clients.
During the outreach mission, the Consulate also held a voting information session and assisted registered voters through the pre-enrollment process. With the opening of the 30-day overseas voting period, registered voters may now cast their ballots through https://ov.comelec.gov.ph until May 12, 1:00 AM Hawaii time. Voters are encouraged to participate in the elections and exercise their right to vote.
The PCG outreach team expressed their appreciation to Kauai County Mayor Derek Kawakami (3rd from right) and shared enthusiasm for future collaborative efforts.
Joining the outreach team were Consular Assistants Brenda Auro, Mia Gaspar, Salmineo De Castro, and Collecting Officer Elvira Perez. The Consulate thanks the County of Kauai and KFCC for their support in the conduct of the outreach at the Lihue Civic Center. (END)
