23 April 2025, Honolulu – Consul General Arman R. Talbo met with Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi in his office at Honolulu Hale. The meeting reaffirmed the close ties between the Philippines and Hawaii, and provided an opportunity to explore additional areas of cooperation such as tourism infrastructure investment, knowledge exchange in ocean safety efforts, trade and business promotion, and ways to support the Filipino American community in Hawaii. 

Mayor Blangiardi expressed his full support for the initiatives of the Consulate which will benefit the Philippines and Hawaii, and the Filipino-American community in Honolulu.  

The Consulate looks forward to working closely with city authorities in advancing shared goals and in promoting the welfare of the Filipino-American community. (END)
