PRESS RELEASE No. 37- 2025

24 April 2025, Honolulu – Consul General Arman R. Talbo and Hawaii Governor Josh Green committed to working closely together in the service of the Filipino American community in Hawaii. This was the overarching theme of Consul General Talbo’s courtesy call on Governor Green, underscoring not only the deep ties between the Philippines and Hawaii, but also the recognition of the vital role and significant contributions of the Filipino American community to both American and Hawaiian society.

Governor Green conveyed his full support for the Consulate’s initiatives, particularly in the areas of trade and investment promotion, addressing health concerns, and strengthening cooperation on emergency preparedness and response.  

The Consulate looks forward to further deepening collaboration with the State of Hawaii in promoting the welfare of the Filipino-American community and advancing peace and security in the region. (END)
