Consul General Talbo (R) presents a functional art piece to US Congressman Case (L) during their meeting at the Philippine Consulate in Honolulu.

 

28 April 2025, Honolulu – Consul General Arman R. Talbo welcomed to the Philippine Consulate General last 24 April the Honorable Ed Case, US Representative for Hawaii’s First District (covering Honolulu from Makapu'u to Mililani and Kapolei), and discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to Philippines-Hawaii relations, founded on the iron-clad alliance of the Philippines and the United States.  

The two officials had candid exchanges on strengthening security and economic cooperation, engaging with the active and vibrant Filipino American community in Hawaii, the welfare of the Filipinos in the state, and ongoing and upcoming activities of the Consulate.  

Consul General Talbo took the opportunity to express the appreciation of the Filipino community for the support of Congressman Case, as well as federal, state and local officials.  Representative Case likewise affirmed his commitment to assist the Consulate in mutually-beneficial endeavors.  (END)
