20 May 2025, Honolulu - Consul General Arman R. Talbo welcomed the Philippine delegation to the Land Forces Pacific (LANPAC) Symposium and Exposition during a courtesy call at the Philippine Consulate General on 13 May 2025. 

LANPAC 2025, held from 13 to 15 May in Honolulu, brought together senior military leaders from 32 Indo-Pacific nations – including 16 army chiefs – for discussions on regional security, deterrence strategies, and joint forces readiness.

The Philippine delegation was led by Lieutenant General Roy M. Galido, Commanding General of the Philippine Army. He was joined by Major General Ramon Zagala, Commander of the Philippine Army Reserve Command, and Brigadier General Vicente Blanco III, Deputy Commandant of the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC). BGen. Blanco  represented the Philippines at the Land Forces Dialogue (LFD) - a strategic forum focused on advancing combined deterrence, regional security, and multilateral cooperation across the Indo-Pacific. 

Consul General Talbo thanked the delegation for their service and leadership and reaffirmed the Consulate’s support for activities that strengthen the PH-US alliance. He emphasized the importance of sustained military and diplomatic engagement in promoting peace, security, and stability across the Indo-Pacific. (END)
