(14 June 2019, Honolulu, Hawaii) - The Philippine delegation to the Mutual Defense Board – Security Engagement Board Executive Committee Meeting (EXECOM) led by Maj. Gen. Cornelio Valencia, Jr., Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans, J5, AFP, made a courtesy call on Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno yesterday.

The EXECOM runs from 20-23 May 2019 at the Headquarters of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command at Camp Smith, Hawaii.

The Philippine delegation and their U.S. counterparts will discuss proposed joint activities for the year 2020 with the goal of further strengthening and modernizing the Philippines- U.S. defense and security alliance. END
