(30 July 2019, Honolulu, Hawaii) - The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) delegation to the PH-US Command and Control Interoperability Board (CCIB) 19-2 Meeting paid a courtesy call on Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno at the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu on 29 July 2019.

The AFP delegation was led by Col. Alejandro J. Papa PA and included Col. Walter P. Icaro PA, LCdr. Rey B. Bitalac PN, Maj. Kristine B. Salon PN, Col. Jose A. Benavidez PA, Col. Milton Y. Beset PA, Col. Mark Edwin B. Moro PA, LCdr. Reynan Carrido PN, Lt. Janice Cebrian PN, Cdr. Salvador Sambalilo PN, Ltc. Jerick Dollente PAF, PCol. Daniel C. Mayoni PNP and Cdr. Geronimo B. Tuvilla PCG.

Also present at the call were Deputy Consul General Angelica C. Escalona, AFP Liaison Officer to the US INDOPACOM Col. Joseph P. Archog and Assistant AFP Liaison Officer Ltc. Vince James DG Bantilan.

The CCIB is a technical bilateral cooperation group established under the Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) to promote communications interoperability in operations as well as joint exercises. The CCIB 19-2 Meeting is being held from 29 July to 2 August 2019 at the Headquarters Commander US Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. (END)
