SBEI member Mr. Querubin V. Cacho successfully opens the Voting Counting Machine and ensures that the Initialization Report generates zero votes before ballot feeding

 

25 April 2019 – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted its first batch of ballot feeding on Thursday, 25 April 2019 at 9:00 a.m. The Consulate’s Special Ballot Reception Custody Group (SBRCG) started receiving mailed ballots on 23 April 2019, which they turned over to the Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEIs) for the feeding of ballots into the Vote Counting Machine (VCM). The Consulate’s schedule of ballot feeding is every Monday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m. local time, in accordance with the General Instructions issued by the Commission on Elections of the Philippines.

The Consulate adopts a postal mode of voting to make voting easier and more convenient to registered Filipino overseas voters. Registered voters are reminded to make sure that their accomplished ballots are received by the Consulate until Sunday, 12 May 2019, 12:00 midnight local time. END
