(11 March 2019, Honolulu, Hawaii ) – In celebration of the International Women’s Day, Mme. Araceli C. Jimeno, spouse of Philippine Consul General to Honolulu Joselito A. Jimeno, hosted a luncheon on 8 March 2019 at the official residence. Invited guests include Mme. Misako Ito, spouse of the Consul General of Japan; Mme. Yunsun Lee, spouse of the Consul General of Korea; the ladies of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu and friends of the Consulate.

Mme. Jimeno noted that International Women’s Day is an opportunity to highlight the special bonds between the women. Guests informally shared stories about themselves and women who have inspired them. Guests enjoyed the Filipino dishes served during the luncheon: adobo, palabok and insaladang talong with mango.
