Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno welcomes Maj. Gen. Nicolas C. Parilla with the traditional military coin token handshake, at the Philippine Consulate General on 26 February 2019

(27 February 2019, Honolulu, Hawaii) - Maj. Gen. Nicolas C. Parilla, AFP, Vice Commander, Philippine Air Force, called on Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno on 26 February 2019. Maj. Gen Parilla is in Hawaii to attend the Philippine Air Force- Pacific Air Forces Airman-to-Airman Talks at Joint Base Pearl Harbor- Hickam from 24-28 February 2019.

The Airman-to-Airman Talks aim to enhance interoperability between the two air forces and foster military-to-military relationships. It also paves the way for future collaboration between the Philippine and the U.S. air forces.

Maj. Gen. Parilla met with his counterpart, Maj. Gen. Russell L. Mack, Vice Commander, Pacific Air Forces. The Philippine Air Force delegation headed by Maj. Gen. Parilla included LTC Derrick Ablog, LTC Peter Adrian Eslava, LTC Glen Mark Cabalquinto, Maj. Reynald Jay Balanay, Maj. Daniel Ebreo II, and Sergeant Major Nelson Mercado. END
