The Philippine Consulate team and clients at the mobile consular outreach in American Samoa
(12 February 2019, Honolulu, Hawaii) - The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu conducted a consular outreach mission in Pago Pago, American Samoa on 8-11 February 2019. The consular outreach team headed by Deputy Consul General Angelica C. Escalona processed 250 passport applications and notarized 117 documents. The consular outreach was conducted with the assistance of the Filipino Community in American Samoa (FCAS).
During the consular team’s stay in Pago Pago, Deputy Consul General Escalona had an opportunity to meet and answer questions of Filipino nationals in American Samoa during a dinner at Fatuoaiga Hall on 9 February 2019. There are more than 3,000 Filipinos in the U.S. territory.
The Deputy Consul General also paid a courtesy call on American Samoa Lt. Governor Lemanu Palepoi S. Mauga on 11 February 2019. She was accompanied by FCAS President Renato Sello and Vice Chairman of the FCAS Board Rhodillo Blanco. (END)
