PRESS RELEASE - 56 - 2019

Filipino young professionals engaging each other during the mixer

(5 August 2019, Honolulu, Hawaii) – Filipino Young Professional Network of Hawaii (FYPNH) held a Networking Event at Amuse Wine Bar on 31 July 2019. The mixer is one of the regular events being organized by FYPNH, on top of supporting projects and events organized by the Filipino community.

FYPNH is under the supervision of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu. It is envisioned to serve as a platform to encourage greater collaboration and synergies among young professionals and Filipino organizations in different parts of the State. It is also an avenue for Post to spread information about its programs such as the Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO), Diskubre Tour, YouLead, and other projects geared toward second and third generation Filipino Americans.

The Consulate previously held young professional mixers last January, February, and May of 2019. The next event will be a Sunset Cruise and Fireworks on 23 August 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

More information about upcoming activities can be found on the Facebook (Filipino Young Professional Network – Hawaii), Instagram (@FilipinoYoungProfessionalHI), and Meetup (Introduction to the Philippines Group) pages of FYPNH. Those interested to host an event for FYPNH can also get in touch with the Economic Section of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu (phone: 808-595-6316 | email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
