(12 August 2019, Honolulu, Hawaii) – Philippine officials attending the Comprehensive Maritime Security Cooperation Course (CMSC) 19-1 at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI-APCSS) called on Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno at the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu on 9 August 2019.
The CMSC 19-1 fellows include Capt. Genito Basilio PCG, PLtc. Greg Rico Togonon PNP, PMaj. Mirayla Lenoa PNP, LCdr Michael Lagula PN, and Ms. Mildred Bauzon of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
Also present at the call were Deputy Consul General Angelica C. Escalona, AFP Liaison Officer to the US INDOPACOM Col. Joseph P. Archog and Assistant AFP Liaison Officer Ltc. Vince James DG Bantilan.
The CMSC is a four-week course designed to advance the knowledge, skills, and networks of maritime policy security advisors and practitioners from the Indo-Pacific region. The CMSC 19-2 started on 1 August 2019 and will end on 28 August 2019. (END)
